SCANIA NEW ZEALAND SERVICE DEALER FOR WHAKATANE
Scania New Zealand is pleased to announce its new, authorised Scania service dealer for Whakatane is East Coast Heavy Diesel and Machinery Ltd.
Scania New Zealand Service Director, Nick Allan, says further developing Scania’s renowned quality customer service and regional support was top of mind in appointing East Coast Heavy Diesel and Machinery Ltd, which was also appointed as a Scania authorised service dealer in Gisborne earlier this year.
“We are very pleased to be able to extend our service offering to our valuable customers by adding this key location of Whakatane to the Scania network,” says Allan.
Director of East Coast Heavy Diesel and Machinery Ltd, Scott Hale, says they are delighted to bring another of their businesses into the renowned Scania stable and look forward to maintaining their highly professional standards and customer-focussed service.
Scania significantly expanded its footprint throughout New Zealand last year and now enjoys a stable of 24 nation-wide service centres, of which 10 are Scania New Zealand branches and 14 are independent approved service centres.
Allan says Scania anticipates further significant growth of its fleet around the country, and this requires a network that has the capacity and flexibility to manage that additional demand.
“As a result we are continually looking for opportunities where the presence of a Scania NZ service dealer or independently owned service and parts dealer, such as East Coast Heavy Diesel and Machinery Ltd can support our future needs,” says Allan.
