Smart Mining Training: A Mastery in Sales and Driver Excellence

Fujairah, UAE : In a recent event that brought together Scania Dealer Sales teams and Driver Trainers from across the region, the Smart Mining Sales & Drivers Training program has been hailed as a significant success. This comprehensive training initiative was designed to provide participants with the essential tools and knowledge to effectively communicate Smart Mining with customers and train customer drivers, focusing on both Dealer Mining Sales and Driver Excellence.

 

The program aimed to equip attendees with Scania Smart Mining solutions, techniques and skills necessary to excel in sales and enhance driver proficiency. Key areas of focus included acquiring a high level of product knowledge, navigating the Scania System, learning basic tools desirable for Driver Trainers, increasing driver comfort and safety, reducing vehicle wear and tear, boosting revenue for operators, and minimizing environmental impact.

 

Spanning three full days, the event kicked off with theoretical training for both Sales and Drivers Trainers on the first day. The subsequent two days were dedicated to practical training held at National Quarries, where Drivers Trainers could apply their newly acquired knowledge and skills in real-world scenarios.

 

The training saw a diverse group of participants from Sales representatives and Drivers Trainers, from four markets of Dubai (Al Shirawi Enterprises), Abu Dhabi (Bin Brook Motors & Equipment), Saudi (GCC Olayan) and Oman (SATA). The sessions were expertly led by Håkan Västerberg, who focused on Drivers Training, and Anders Lindblad, who led the Sales training.
