be’ah Expands Fleet with Advanced Scania Trucks to Boost National Waste Transportation

In a strategic move to reinforce Oman’s waste management infrastructure, Oman Environmental Services Holding Company (be’ah) has strengthened its transport capabilities with the addition of 19 Scania trucks, delivered by SATA LLC, the official Scania distributor in the Sultanate. This marks the second batch of vehicles provided under a growing partnership focused on operational excellence and environmental sustainability.

The new fleet comprises a mix of prime movers and hook loaders, specifically designed to tackle the diverse challenges of waste transport across Oman’s varied terrain. Engineered for fuel efficiency, durability, and high safety standards, the trucks are equipped with disc brakes and Scania’s advanced retarder system—ensuring optimal control, less wear and tear, and higher uptime for continuous heavy-duty operations.

This development supports be’ah’s comprehensive role in Oman’s national waste strategy, which spans municipal waste transportation from facilities to final disposal. The upgraded fleet will facilitate smooth and uninterrupted transportation to treatment facilities and engineered landfills throughout the country.

To ensure long-term performance, the trucks are backed by SATA LLC’s full-service package, which offers customized maintenance contracts for cost efficiency and extended powertrain protection to minimize breakdowns and operational disruptions.

More than a vehicle delivery, this marks a deepening alliance between be’ah, Scania, and SATA—anchored in a shared commitment to sustainable practices, responsive service, and future-ready operations. With reliable aftersales support, on-ground technical teams, and flexible service packages, the partnership ensures be’ah’s fleet remains mission-ready—contributing to a cleaner, greener Oman.
