TOP ITE GRADUATES CONTINUE TO RECEIVE SCANIA SINGAPORE AWARDS 2017

SINGAPORE,  February 9, 2017 – Scania Singapore presented three awards at the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) Graduation Ceremony 2017 at ITE College West, in recognition of the top three performing students from the School of Engineering.

 

The graduation ceremony is an annual college-wide event to celebrate all ITE Higher Nitec and Nitec students who have successfully completed their graduation requirements.

 

The recipients of the Scania Singapore Awards were presented to the following Automotive Technology (Heavy Vehicles) graduates

 

  • The Scania Gold Award – Muhammad Khairin bin Nasir
  • The Scania Silver Award – Muhammad Hariz Haikel bin Harry
  • The Scania Bronze Award – Mohammad Raihan bin Zailani

 

Each recipient received a Scania model truck and cash prizes respectively.

 

“This marks the beginning of the next phase of their lives with all the new and exciting challenges that lie ahead. Today is a very special occasion for them, their parents and lecturers, something that they are proud of and will remain with them throughout their lives,” said Mark Cameron, Scania Southeast Asia’s Regional Director of South Malaysia and Singapore, Country Manager of Scania Singapore.

 

"The students of ITE College West can help forge the future of Singapore, and with the skills and knowledge they have gained. I hope that at least some of them will become part of the Scania family to assist in supporting the transport future for Singapore,” said Mark.
