A new season of Top Team has started. In the spring of 2023, new champions will be crowned.
Top Team is a global competition for professional service teams within the Scania service network. Everyone who works in the service area is welcome to compete in teams of 3–5 people. The most common contestants are service technicians, parts specialists and service advisors.

Scania Top Team is a competition to find and celebrate the best service technicians in the Scania global network, but it’s also about putting the customer first and recruiting new workshop talent. About top team
Top Team encourages internal collaboration and increases knowledge and motivation. This way, service personnel develop their skills by combining training and teamwork with the competition. The results benefit Scania customers by providing a more effective service. The competition is much appreciated by service personnel and helps improve the attractiveness of Scania as an employer.
A contest rooted in reality
Scania Top Team begins at the team’s workshop with theoretical challenges in two parts. The best teams advance to the national final where theoretical exercises are supplemented with practical exercises. Winners of the national finals meet at the international regional finals. From here, only 12 teams will make it to the world finals. In the end, there will be one winning team. Competition exercises require knowledge, team spirit, and discipline. The format of the competition will follow daily work patterns, the most essential objective being to satisfy the needs of the customer.
Global demand for qualified service workshop personnel
The Scania Top Team competition is a way of highlighting the importance of service personnel. It is brains, technological skills and teamwork that characterise the service personnel that Scania needs. The industry’s need for service personnel, in terms of service technicians, parts experts and service advisors, is growing. Truck, bus and engine uptime determine customer profitability. And uptime, to a large extent, lies in the hands of skilled and motivated service personnel.
The transport industry is about to undergo a technological shift. With skills and knowledge, Scania’s service personnel will guide our customers through this journey. The next Scania Top Team represents the outstanding talent and expertise of Scania’s service organisation. The best performing service team will become the world champions.
