A royally good time at the Norfolk Show 2019
Food, friends and trucks in abundance at the Showground.
It’s always nice to get out of the office; it’s even nicer when it’s to go to the Royal Norfolk Show; an annual two day event when businesses around the county present their products and services in a fun and family-friendly environment.
This year the show took place on the 26th and 27th June, and, being the third year TruckEast have attended, the team were ready and eager to see what would be in store. Once set up on stand 440 E, our Sales team were available to answer any questions on the Scania product range– from vintage 143s to new generation XT’s.
We shared the ways existing customers can benefit from our services, such as the ‘Good News for Old Friends’ plan, with 12 or 24-month subsidised Maintenance contracts, and how each truck purchased can be tailored to meet business demands.
A host of vehicles were on stand, demonstrating the breadth and scope Scania’s offer. Visitors were able to take a look around our tough tipper, spacious S-Cab and sturdy R-cab demos. We were also lucky enough to be able to show off some stunning customer trucks thanks to the generosity of Coopers Transport Services, Goldstar Metal Traders Ltd and Phill Clark.
Only one word could perfectly describe the Norfolk show, and that is ‘extravaganza’ – from the transport industry, to agriculture, artisan food to fair rides, there really is something for all people of all ages.
A big thank you to everyone who came to our stand, and also to Nomadi Pizza for supplying mouth-watering stonebaked pizzas at lunchtime.
For those who were unable to make it to the show, be sure to put next year’s date in your diary – 1st and 2nd July 2020.
Here are some of our favourite shots from the event…
