Apply today to work amongst our exciting team at our Norwich branch. The position is for a Depot Supervisor, responsible for developing and maintaining the aftersales service provided to the customer in the depot.

essential duties and job responsibilities

  • Maximise the profitability of both parts and service departments, including continual improvements in utilisation of staff and efficiency of organisation
  • Budgeting in conjunction with Depot Manager
  • Maintain compliance in all areas of Health and Safety in the workplace
  • Selection and recruitment of staff in all departments (In conjunction with DM)
  • Contribute to the development of all operating and administrative systems to ensure that quality, efficient and timely work is carried out
  • Remain up to date with all relevant legal requirements
  • Achieve and strive to exceed customer service level expectations and agreements
  • Identify and implement a training plan for all depot staff
  • Ensure premises are maintained to a high standard, inline with Scania Dealer Operating standards
  • Ensure premises security measures are adequate at all times
  • Actively seek new business in conjunction with Depot Manager
  • Ensure all invoice related queries are dealt with in a timely manner
  • Monitor Warranty / Contract ledger
  • Actively participate in all SGB measured campaigns and competitions
  • Other general duties as designated by the Manager

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Knowledge of Scania systems
  • Leadership skills / experience
  • Current driving licence
  • Ability to manage a team
  • Ability to work within guidelines and to deadlines
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Detail orientated           
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Computer literacy
  • Leadership skills
  • High level of computer literacy
  • Solution-driven approach
  • Awareness and understanding of Health and Safety requirements

  • Excellent organisation and analytical skills    
  • HGV licence
  • Experience of working with Scania products
  • Main dealer parts experience
