Reporting to: Bodyshop Manager

Overview

The Bodyshop Supervisor is responsible for supporting the management of the Bodyshop for the repair of damaged vehicles and trailers, and the preparation of new vehicles.

essential duties and job responsibilities

  • Ensure a high quality of customer service is delivered by the department 
  • Supervise Bodyshop staff, including supervision of timekeeping and productivity, authorisation of overtime, holiday management and identifying training needs 
  • Ensure all administrative processes are completed to the required standard  
  • Supporting with building new business relationships through excellent communication and networking
  • Establish an effective working relationship with all departments and depots 
  • Deal with queries in an effective manner, ensuring all actions are met 
  • Assist in completing estimates for new business 
  • Any other duties relevant to the smooth and efficient operation of the department as determined by your manager

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Current driving licence 
  • Ability to work within a team 
  • Ability to work within guidelines and to deadlines
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills 
  • Excellent customer service and people management skills 
  • High level of computer literacy 
  • Detail orientated 
  • Excellent organisational and analytical skills 
  • Ability to work under pressure and have a solutiondriven approach 
  • Possess excellent accuracy and numeracy skills
  • Awareness and understanding of Health and Safety requirements 
  • Supervisory/management experience 
  • HGV licence 
  • Commercial bodyshop experience
