With Scania XPI you get a fuel injection system that makes continuous, precise adjustments to ensure optimal fuel delivery. The system varies the volume and timing of the injection, which minimises consumption and emissions without restricting torque build-up.
GIVES YOU CONTROL
We've developed the Scania EMS (engine management system) to give you secure control over all aspects of engine performance, as well as emissions – from fuel injection to exhaust gas aftertreatment. EMS also provides advanced diagnostics and logs detailed operational data for analysis.
REDUCES NOx EMISSIONS
Our engines use EGR to manage emissions inside the combustion chamber by adding exhaust into the inlet air, reducing the NOx emissions. Plus, SCR technology manages emissions in the aftertreatment system to radically reduce nitrogene oxides without restricting torque build-up.
