Job description, responsibilities and duties

The main responsibility of the Compliance coordinator is to support Compliance Manager CER to have proper internal control in line with the Scania policies and regulations. At the same time acting in role of Data Protection coordinator, with main responsibility for implementation and upkeeing all policies and procedures regarding Data Protection (GDPR) within the Business Unit.

Acting as a subject matter expert in all aspects of data protection (GDPR).

Key responsibilities:

• Supporting Compliance in the business unit (including training): supporting policy owners during implementation of Scania Group Policies, risks identification, implementation and maintenance of compliance processes and procedures, internal audits
• Managing business unit Data Protection and Privacy Governance: acting as point of contact for internal and external data protection matters
• Operational and advisory support: creating guidelines, instructions and templates, Data Protection Management system administration, risk reviews, reporting data protection breach, ensuring necessary training activities within entrusted field
• Managing collaboration with local authorities: managing activities for internal investigations, participation on data privacy law issues with industry associations
• Work improvement: participation and contribution in improvement activities based on standardized working method

Performance of working duties within countries: Slovak, Czech republic and Hungary (CER region).

Personality requirements and skills

• Relevant education or equivalent work experience (Compliance, GDPR, Internal audit)
• Business knowledge and experience from a similar role is an advantage
• Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and to compile detailed reports
• High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
• Fluent in English, Czech / Slovak, Hungarian
• Advanced computer skills on MS Office
• Driving licence B
• Fulfillment of working duties requires resiliency, an autonomous personality who is continuously making effort to improve compliance process and procedures of the business
• Strong sense of responsibility, well-developed sense for keeping confidentiality and high level of legal and moral integrity
• Working in a structured, conscientious, consistent, independent and thorough manner
• Perseverance in dealing with open issues
• Position is suitable for experienced candidates
