Scania has the broadest range of alternative fuel and technology solutions, from natural gas, HVO, bioethanol, biogas, biodiesel to hybrid drivetrains, platooning and autonomous vehicle technology.
Scania employs some 45,000 people and operates in about 100 countries. Our production is in Europe and Latin America while our assembly, Regional Product Centres are in various countries including Thailand and Malaysia for local markets. Asia Parts Centre supports the region from Singapore.
In Southeast Asia, we employ over 380 people in sales and service branches, mobile workshops and Scania Assistance standby service vans; covering Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Myanmar, Philippines, Vietnam, Brunei and Indonesia.
Scania commenced operations in Singapore in the early 1970’s, supporting the logistics, construction and public service sectors, commuting people and goods every day throughout the country. Employing around 80 staff in two dedicated workshops and with technicians based at some customers’ premises, Scania Singapore Pte. Ltd. continues to meet both public & cargo transport needs of Singapore.
