The Parts Logistics IT team is now looking for an IT Infrastructure Engineer to join this exciting journey! You will be at the center of our journey to take local IT Infrastructure to the next level in order to be ready for new cloud-based solutions; driving the transformation to a modern digital ecosystem. Scania IT-team is closely integrated with the Global Scania IT-organisation. In your role as an IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will be part of an awesome team taking responsibility for local Infrastructure with some expertise on network area. You will be point of contact for all network related activities and will stay in close contact with the central Network-team. You will gain in-depth insight into our technical solutions and provide accurate technical advice to internal stakeholders. You will work on maintenance and incidents as well as project activities. You value qualitative deliveries and are willing to support in testing during IT-projects.

We are looking for an enthusiastic colleague with at least a bachelor's degree in computer science and minimum +2 years relevant work experience. You are experienced in leading the technical implementation of projects (e.g. a new application, upgrade) from zero to full installation, in collaboration with internal stakeholders or external suppliers. You understand how business needs are transformed into solution demands and how infrastructure can support them. You are skilled at establishing personal contacts and an expert on understanding problems and knowing how to solve them. You speak and write English fluently.

 

Furthermore the following technical competences are an advantage in the role:

  • + 2 years’ experience in a technical ICT / Telecom environment
  • Expertise of network LAN architecture
  • WLAN Controller / WLAN Site Survey / WLAN Design
  • DNS Infoblox
  • Basic Firewall troubleshooting
  • Windows Server Operating Systems
  • Basic Server knowledge skills
  • Active Directory
  • Scripting “Powershell,…”
  • Basic VMWare vSphere
  • Basic Databases Microsoft SQL
  • You will gain in-depth insight in technical solutions like “RFID, Pick-by-Voice, …”
