We are currently looking for a colleage who will join us as:

inventory accountant

We are looking for an Inventory Accountant. In this function you will be a part of our Finance department situated in our main logistical centre in Oudsbergen. We also have accounting & reporting in Sweden and Brasil. You will be working closely with the inventory controller and the local accounting department. We also have frequent contacts with our head office in Södertälje, Sweden.

 

The challenge                    

 

As an inventory accountant your main tasks will focus specifically on parts accounting:

  • Parts price maintaining (in collaboration with Purchasing)
  • Inventory accounting: Stock value adjustments, Invoice matching, monitoring GL accounts
  • Month end activities: reconciliation Accounts Payables, General ledger accounts
  • Communication with Back office India (Follow up, Education, Problem solving, continuous improvement of the processes ) and being the central contact person between Sweden and India

 

Besides your tasks as inventory accountant, you are expected to be part of the local team of accountants. This means that you will alsoparticipate in general accounting activities such as Intrastat, VAT declaration, month end closing activities, etc.

We are looking for an enthusiastic colleague with a solid understanding of accounting as well as a strong interest to understand our logistic operations. You are an experienced system user with good knowledge in Microsoft Office, primarily Excel. Experience with SAP and OracleEBS is an advantage. You have a strong knowlegde of written and spoken English, which enables you to work in an international environment. You are very punctual in your work and you have good communication skills. You are flexible and you like to work in a team, although you are not afraid to work independently.
