Scania shares its Scania Ecolution for BETTER Fuel Efficiency and CO2 Emission Reduction

Kota Kinabalu, 16 March 2019 – Scania Malaysia was at the inaugural Road Tankers Operations Guidelines Day 2019 (RTOG) organised by Petronas Dagangan Berhad (PDB) at Kotamas Oil Sdn. Bhd. on 16 March 2019.  This event was created to test the skills of the drivers of PDB’s operators in handling unexpected critical situations when they are on the road. About 400 visitors were at the event and a total of eight companies participated in the competition – all business partners of Petronas.

Scania introduced Scania Ecolution which is a tailor-made partnership between customer’s business and Scania, with the sole purpose to reduce fuel consumption up to 10% and lower CO2 emissions.

“Scania shares the same values as Petronas in creating lasting social benefits, minimising disruption to livelihood, reducing our emissions and minimising the impact on ecosystems and biodiversity. Petronas’ sustainability focus in upholding operational excellence in the way we conduct our business and our role in accelerating socio-economic growth as a responsible business is also in line with Scania’s mission,” said Daniel Tan, Sales Director Scania Southeast Asia.
