Safety, fuel economy with Fleet Management - Scania at Petronas FM drive event with Zha.
Kuantan, 28th of May, 2016 – Scania was at Zha Pengangkutan Sdn Bhd, Kuantan to support in elevating the standards of drivers in terms of safety and fuel economy at the Petronas FM Drive. A total of eight companies participated in the competition – all business partners of Petronas. Launched by Tn. Hj. Mohd. Shobri Hj. Abu Bakar, Head of Supply and Distribution Division, Petronas Dagangan Berhad (PDB), an estimated of 200 guests came to the event. Scania’s sustainable transport solutions including Scania Fleet Management System were demonstrated during the event.
“I believe Scania focuses on customer needs and sustainability, delivering the value that we can get out of using Scania products which can reduce our costs and get the professional advice,” said Tuan Haji Ahmad Zubir Haji Azhari, the Executive Director.
“Data from the system can provide customers reports on driver behaviour and monitor utilization and vehicle performance, fuel consumption and etc. As a customer, this system can help us to monitor drive hours, to make sure the drivers are on time, monitor the speed, reducing speed is one way to reduce fuel costs and better risk management. We believe that Scania is one of the brand that have proved to be reliable so far and cost effective”.
