SCANIA INDIA LAUNCHES SAMPARK
In a bid to further strengthen its commitment to the Indian market, Scania India convened SAMPARK a series of regional introductions of the recently launched NTG Heavy Tipper across the country. SAMPARK aims at bringing world class Scania automotive technology to the doorstep of Indian mining operations and to engage with those who work most closely with our products. Conceptualized to inform and interact with on-site personnel such as site managers, fleet managers and site engineers, SAMPARK is an initiative to spread awareness regarding Scania products and solutions to people with feet on the ground. The event also includes a training session for attending drivers and technicians to increase their focus on safety, fuel efficiency and operations.
The first SAMPARK event was held on October 21st in Karimnagar and was attended by close to 100 customers from sites in the Telangana region. The half day event included a display of the Heavy Tipper and engaging information sharing sessions on Scania as a brand and the salient features and benefits of the new Heavy Tipper. Both these sessions were conducted by Mrs. Ruchi Ahluwalia, Director HR and Marketing Communications and Mr. Srinivas Raghavan, Director Sales respectively. Customers were also able to experience and gain knowledge on Scania Fleet Management Services and Parts through display stalls set up and manned by subject experts.
The afternoon included an interactive Q&A round where customer representatives answered interesting questions related to the product and Indian mining operations. Drivers and technicians were also a part of a detailed training session which included an on the spot quiz. Fueled by the success of this first edition, SAMPARK will now move to the Central, East. North and West zones.
