As part of the ongoing SAMPARK initiative, the second edition of the event was held in Nagpur for Scania’s central zone customers. The event was held at the L&T workshop and saw the presence of key Scania customers from the central region. Nagpur, has for long been a focal point of Scania’s operations in India. The city’s proximity to mining sites, strategic geographical location as zero-mile center and opportune business climate make it a viable location for engagement and outreach. 

Like its predecessor in Karimnagar, the Nagpur edition too was designed to inform customer representatives from the sites about the features, benefits and solutions that come with Scania’s New Truck Generation. The audiences participated in a knowledge sharing session by Mr. Rafael Alvarenga, Director Services-Scania India, who spoke at length about Scania as a brand and how the new NTG Heavy Tipper resonates with their commitment to India and contributes to customer profitability. The opportunity was also used to felicitate important customers who have invested faith in Scania. 

The session was followed by a lively and engaging interaction with the audiences that included interesting questions being asked and the best answers being rewarded. Given our emphasis on building a robust ecosystem, a training was also organized for visiting drivers and technicians. 

The Heavy Tipper was also kept on display at the location along with Scania’s Fleet Management Services and Parts to give customers a hands-on-experience of the product and solutions on offer. The next leg of the campaign will see SAMPARK moving North in our continued effort to reach customers across the country.
