In a consistent effort to engage with on-ground customers across the country, Scania India took it’s initiative SAMPARK to Singrauli with the third edition of the event. The event was held at the L&T workshop and saw the presence of key Scania customers from the North region. Singrauli is a strategic town for Scania’s India operations and every vehicle launched in the country has been validated and tested here. The city is home to several key mining sites and boasts of being the region with the highest number of Scania vehicles anywhere in the world. Singrauli, therefore, was pivotal for a high-impact customer engagement activity.

Like the previous events in Karimnagar and Nagpur this one too was designed to inform customer representatives from the sites about the features, benefits and solutions that come with Scania’s New Truck Generation. They were taken through a detailed presentation and knowledge sharing session by Mr. Wikstein Lennart, Head RPC, India and Malaysia and Mr. Rafael Alvarenga, Director Services-Scania India, who spoke about Scania as a brand and the new NTG Heavy Tipper respectively. Mr. Arun Pai and Mr. Rahul Mehta from  L&T, our partners, were also present and Mr. Pai addressed the audience promising a continued show of strength to the mining community. The opportunity was also used to felicitate important customers who have been growth drivers for Scania India.

The session was followed by a lively and engaging interaction with the audiences that included interesting questions being asked and the best answers being rewarded. Given our emphasis on building a robust ecosystem, a training was also organized for visiting drivers and technicians.

The Heavy Tipper was kept on display at the location along with Scania’s Fleet Management Services and Parts to give customers a hands-on-experience of the product and solutions on offer. The next leg of the campaign will see SAMPARK moving East and West in our continued effort to reach customers across the country.
