Scania Global Champion Trainee Program is an excellent start to your career and provides you with the network and knowledge you need to become a future leader in a global organisation.
The programme is a cross functional cooperation within TRATON Group and aims to give you a comprehensive understanding across our diverse organisation. You will be employed from day one and the programme will alternate between practical work and theory, giving you the chance to gain useful contacts and develop a broad level of competence.

Contents and structure
The programme takes place during 15 months, between August and November with a possible additional 3 months module within TRATON Group for selected trainees.
Scania Global Champion Trainee Program starts with an introduction period where you will receive lectures from managers and co-workers within Scania, participate in study visits, get an assembly practice and a truck drivers license. It continues with periods of internships, two of them abroad, within TRATON Group and within the Scania global commercial organisation in Europe.
Additionally you and your trainee colleagues will have a lot of team activities and gain a fantastic network.
Scania Global Champion Trainee Program has a number of different specialisations, which reflect Scania’s different areas of operation.
You can choose your area of interest on the application form. Please note that if you are interested in production and logistics you can apply for a graduate trainee position in Södertälje, Oskarshamn or Luleå. Read more about the different work areas below:

Scania Global Champion Trainee Program is aimed at holders of Master of Science degrees, who have just finished their studies or have a maximum of one year’s work experience. You should be prepared to take on personal challenges and develop within a learning organisation. The programme prepares you for work within an international environment. For this reason, good language skills are a prerequisite.
As part of the selection process, we look at a combination of your experiences, interests, personal characteristics, and formal education/qualifications. As part of the process we also use web based tests. During the programme your base will be in Sweden. Experience of having studied or worked in Sweden is an advantage.

Scania Global Champion Trainee Program is open for application for all EU citizens with a Master’s degree that has been verified by the Swedish Council for Higher Education.
If you have a master’s degree from a university outside of Sweden, please contact the Swedish Council for Higher Education www.uhr.se to have your degree verified. Please note that this can take five to nine months.
