Scania Global Champion Trainee Program is an excellent start to your career and provides you with the network and knowledge you need to become a future leader in a global organisation.
The program is a cross functional cooperation within TRATON Group and aims to give you a comprehensive understanding across our diverse organisation. You will be employed from day one and the program will alternate between practical work and theory, giving you the chance to gain useful contacts and develop a broad level of competence.
Application period for 2020 is open 11 November 2019 until 5 January 2020.
Contents and structure
The programme starts in August and takes place during 15 months with a possible additional 3 months module within TRATON Group.
Scania Global Champion Trainee Program starts with an introduction period to get an overall view of Scania, participate in study visits and get an assembly practice. The introduction also includes an onboarding week with trainees within TRATON Group. The programme includes four different rotations, one of the rotations will take place within TRATON GROUP and one will take place within the Scania commercial organisation. At least one of the rotations will be placed abroad.
Additionally you and your trainee colleagues will have a lot of team activities and gain a fantastic network.

*Please note that if you are interested in production and logistics you can apply for a graduate trainee position in Södertälje/Oskarshamn in Sweden, Slupsk in Poland or Zwolle in The Netherlands (program start August 2020)
Scania Global Champion Trainee Program is aimed at holders of Master degrees, who have just finished their studies or have a maximum of one year’s work experience (when program starts).
We are looking for a person who is prepared for a personal challenge and to develop in a value driven organisation with the focus on driving the shift towards sustainable transport solutions. The programme prepares you to become a leader in an international environment. For this reason, good language skills are a prerequisite.
As part of the selection process, we look at a combination of your experiences, interests, personal qualities and formal education/qualifications. As part of the process we also use web based tests.
Please notice that Scania Global Champion Trainee Program is open for application for all EU citizens with a Master’s degree that has been verified by the Swedish Council for Higher Education.
