My name is Simon Ingebrand, I’m 29 years old, and I’m currently a graduate trainee within production & logistics at Scania’s cab plant in Oskarshamn.
Born and raised in Sundsvall, I stayed there until the age of 23 when I moved south to Linköping to study for my MSc in Industrial Engineering and Management. In total, I spent 5 years in Linköping plus 1 year in Karlsruhe, Germany as an Erasmus student. My master thesis was written at the institution of project management, where my colleague and I studied knowledge management at WSP (an engineering consultancy firm).
After my return from Germany, I realized that Scania was an employer that matched my educational profile as well as my personality really well. One week after presenting my master thesis, I moved to Oskarshamn to start my journey as a graduate trainee at Scania, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience so far! In this blog I want to share my journey as a graduate trainee, and also my own reflections on what I learn during the process. I hope you will find it interesting. If you have any questions of your own, please contact me and I will do my best to answer them for you!
