I will talk about my journey, from University of Gothenburg through Scania Graduate Trainee Program ending up talking processes and economy with engineers. I will also describe Scania’s economy steering model for product development and how it supports our shift to sustainable transport systems.

Towards a sustainable transport system with connectivity
The Transport industry is currently undergoing a major change. The focus on sustainability is larger than ever and three disruptive trends, Autonomous, Connectivity and Electrification, will change our industry dramatically the coming years. In this lecture you’ll learn more about:
- How do we work with Connectivity at Scania?
- How does connectivity help Scania and our customers and why does it play an important role in our sustainability journey?
- How does the future transport system look like?
But I’ll also talk about how it is to work at Scania and how my journey at Scania has looked like since I finished my studies in Interaction & Design at Umeå University.

Scania is a part of ASAP – A SUSTAINABILITY ACCELERATION PROJECT
ASAP is a joint effort to accelerate sustainable development. The project is founded by Sustainergies and Ecolabelling Sweden and powered this year by Scania, Samsung and Nordea. Together we will boost people with inspiration and skills to really make a difference!
Starting in September 2018, we will explore sustainability, provide inspiration and invite 50 selected students to participate in a unique accelerator program, combining a sustainability boot camp and a case challenge. Scania will contribute with key competencies and insights from the industrie, to help empower students to become the future sustainability leaders and change agents we need.
