A lot has happened since I wrote my last blog post, so a catch-up is needed!
First of all, I’m back in school. I have mixed feelings about this one… It’s great to be in school and see my friends every day, however I am getting really tired of being a student. The fact that there’s always something you can do, and something more you can learn is stressful, and I’m also really tired of learning new theory and new models – I want to come out in the real world and USE everything I know! Well, I only have a half year left in school and then I’m going to write my master thesis, which is almost like working so I guess I’ll just have to hang in there!
The second thing I wanted to update you on was that I have decided on my master thesis subject! Finally!! I’m going to write within project management, about knowledge management – I will describe the problem formulation to you in another blogpost. The subject and the problem formulation feels really good and it really matches my background and what I would like to work with in the future. I think it will be very exciting and a real challenge that I am more than ready to accept!
Last but not least – I just came back from the third SSI weekend! It was great to see everyone again, and we did so many fun things! The first day had some focus on the master thesis and careers at Scania, which was really interesting. We got a deeper insight in different roles and positions at Scania IT, and got to meet people who had these jobs – which was really interesting and it was great to hear their stories, backgrounds and advices. I think may of us valued this, at least I did, and my view of what I want to do has become a bit more clear! The second day we did a case with the System-group. It was a case that could be applied on Scania and it allowed us to “think outside the box” and come up with creative solutions, which was really fun! Thank you Scania for a great weekend!
In the evening we all played beach volleyball! Great fun – however maybe not one of my main talents..
Have a great week!
