Product and Concept Manager - Fleet and Driver Services

The aim of Connected Services and Solutions at Scania is to implement and sell services to support the transport company business as well as to leverage the benefits of connectivity within all parts of Scania.
 
Fleet and Driver Services within Sales & Marketing is commercially responsible for the services Fleet Management, Tachograph services, Driver Services and Ecolution by Scania. We are also an important contributor with commercial aspects when developing new exciting concepts that will enter the market in the future.
 
We are looking for a Product and Concept Manager to join our product management team. You will have the responsibility of Scania Tachograph Services. The position will also include participating in other projects in a development phase representing the commercial aspects and product management.
 
Assignment
In your role as Product and Concept Manager you will drive the development of your services and concepts forward, to ensure a portfolio growth serving our customer’s needs. You will work closely with other parts of the company as well as with customers ensuring coordination in the commercial set-up, development, marketing, follow-up as well as implementation. While maintaining a deep understanding of our customer’s business and of our own organisation, you will develop and lead the service and product area you are responsible for.
 
You will be the main representative for your service in tasks like participating in service development activities, prioritise requirements, developing best practices, follow up on quality and delivery, make concepts ready for implementation and support during implementation.
 
Your Profile
The work will require excellent communicational as well as commercial skills. Knowledge around and experience from commercial vehicle industry and the business surrounding it, is a prerequisite. Awareness of the everyday life of our customers and the drivers of our products is a plus. Since the management of the portfolio is a team effort you are a strong team player.
 
You probably have an academic background in engineering or business, a sense for making business, a large interest in developing the customer offering in this area and ability to prioritise what to focus on. Commercial experience is a plus.
 
Fluency in English is a prerequisite and other languages are a bonus. Some travelling will be required.
