1966: Bus production transferred to Katrineholm

The exploding demand for buses when Sweden changed from left-hand to right-hand traffic in 1967 led to Scania-Vabis’ acquisition of AB Svenska Karosseri Verkstäderna in Katrineholm, Sweden, to which all of Scania-Vabis bus production is transferred to liberate space for truck production in Södertälje.
