Scania wins Green Truck Award for the third time in a row
The success story continues. Also in 2019 the German trade magazine Verkehrsrundschau has awarded Scania as the most environmentally-friendly truck. After the R 450 won the title in 2017 and the R 500 placed first in 2018, the R 450 defended the title. Scania had already won the title in 2012 and 2014.
In spite of the robustness
The repeated win is especially remarkable because the Scania trucks weren’t the lightest ones in the test due to their robust build. In spite of their heavier weight, they achieve extraordinary low fuel consumption.
the Scania G 410 takes third place
With an average fuel consumption of 24.02 litters of diesel per 100 kilometres and CO2 emissions of 762 grams per kilometre, the Scania G 410 took third place in the environmental ranking.
