Scania buses give life to Mexican routes

Mexican public transport operator Transcomunicador Mexiquense recently purchased 89 Scania buses for use in Puebla and the State of México. In the State of México the buses will operate on the new Línea 2 route.

Juan José Sánchez Peláez, President of Administration at Transcomunicador Mexiquense, says: “We consider this to be one of the most important transport projects in the region in recent years.”

João Crema, Scania’s Commercial Director in Mexico, says that these vehicles mark the start of a new era for Scania in Mexico. “It will contribute to better urban mobility in the country,” he says.

Scania’s vehicles can be adapted to all transport systems and contribute to long-term city planning.

Scania service technicians will provide ongoing maintenance at customer workshops. Silvio Renan, Scania Service Director, says: “The maintenance workshops are ready to provide reliable public transport for the local population.”
