Location: Guangzhou

Education and/or Experience:

• Technical knowledge
• Previous experience in automotive industry
• Work experience in sales
• Further education in relevant field an advantage

• General computer and IT knowledge
• Ability to actively seek solutions to problems

The responsibilities included but not limited to:

• To provide the highest levels of service to both external and internal customers booking vehicles in for service and repair.
• Resolve any problems that arise immediately.
• Make proactive outbound sales calls.
• Generate potential opportunities to sell hours & parts and maximising workshop utilisation.
• Ensure all identified work is scheduled to be done either now or booking confirmed for the future.
• Provide the initial fault diagnosis to the customer, and schedule any required work with the Workshop, using the workshop planning system.
• Manage quotation process, including checking customer credit rating.
• Up sell associated parts and services including fixed price repairs, campaigns and special offers.
• Maintain open communication between the customer and workshop, to ensure the Technician has the right information to correctly diagnose problems and that the Customer’s requirements and expectations are met.
• Build and develop customer relationships by providing outstanding customer service, keeping the customer up-to-date with the job progress, explaining the content of the invoice and conducting vehicle handover on completion of the work.
• Work as part of the Service Sales team to ensure:
- the workshop has the appropriate amount of work for optimising profitability;
- the supply of parts and accessories to the workshop and customers in line with demand.
• Seek feedback from customers by conducting regular follow up calls as required.
• Promote appropriate customer solutions using the Scania product portfolio and commercial campaign offers.
