Production Control Line Manager
Scania has decided to install a 3rd industrial hub in China besides the industrial installations in Europe and Latin America. A project within P&L have been initiated to develop and implement this hub. One part of this project is Production Control, which is responsible for setting up all the production planning processes for the new industrial hub in China as well as creating a local Production Control team.
Production Control acts in the interface between Industrial Operations functions, i.e. Production, Logistics, R&D and Purchasing, as well as with Sales & Marketing and Finance. As a relevant and central part of the Order to Delivery process, the role is fully involved in many important development projects as the New ERP Backbone implementation.
We are now looking for a leader with a strong drive, excellent communication skills and an analytical mindset.
As the project is in an early phase, you will have a great opportunity to have an impact on the future of logistics for Scania in China. This also means you will have the opportunity to be the leading part in creating the engaged and diverse production control team in China.
You are a leader today and have an academic degree or similar knowledge gained from working experience. Previous experience from Production and Logistics is required. You are fluent in the English language both written and spoken.

You are flexible, solution oriented and able to quickly find solutions to situations that arise. You are focused on common goals, create good relationships with different stakeholders involved in the processes at Scania and Traton, creating a collaborative environment.

You will belong to the new China Production Control organisation TC, but will report to the Production Control project organisation until the hub is operational. Expect an initial training period of 6-9 months depending on experience at Scania’s HQ in Södertälje, Sweden. Travel & accommodation during this period will be managed by Scania. The role will then onwards be stationed at the site of the new industrial hub in Rugao, China. Business trips abroad may occur.
