General

The Export Control Officer (ECO) is in charge and lead export control work in unit concerned. Shall actively drive the organization towards higher trade compliance by implement and maintain the Scania’s Export Control Compliance program within unit concerned organization.

Responsibility and authority

Lead the export control compliance work within the unit concerned.

Is accountable to ensure that the unit concerned organization is compliant to following applicable export control legislation and regulations.

Need to understand and act according to the Scania way (SRS) frame work and improvement work.

Guide the Management within the unit concerned in export control and Sanction/Embargoes regulations and procedures on strategic and tactical level with focus on compliance risks.

Provide input to the Management within the unit concerned for handling complicated export control matters, leadership and direction regarding compliance with the relevant regulations and legislations.

Required competencies

License and certificates
