You have a master of science in engineering and with competence and experience from working with leadership and product development, experience from working with truck and chassis is promoted.

As a design engineer you are expected to develop chassis component to our new truck designed for the Chinese market in close collaboration with the development team in Sweden. You will be introduced to this new role in Södertälje, Sweden for 1-6 months in order to get to know Scania and the project, and after that you will move (together with parts of the organization) to our new R&D office in Rugao, China.

Your assignments will be to:

•Together with our development team in Södertälje, Sweden develop the new truck chassis

•Keep close dialog with our relevant cross-functions regarding the design work, such as purchase, production, logistics and service

•Plan tests and calculations for your responsible design areas

•Be responsible for industrialising of chassis component

•Keep close technical dialog with serial suppliers and the quality assurance department

You:

•are comfortable working in an organisation under build up, where not everything is in place

•like to take initiative and to fast and efficiently solve problems and deliver results

•have courage, take great responsibility and have a good ability to develop and maintain a wide network of contacts at all levels

•are used to work with high pace and deliver on high expectations
