Agency agreement signed to further extend Scania’s Total Transport Solutions customer service concept.
Scania has announced it has been appointed the Australian national service, warranty and repair agent for the German refrigerated trailer manufacturer Schmitz Cargobull, now operating in Australia.
Under this exclusive agreement, Scania’s Australia-wide network of factory-owned workshops will provide full array of services to Schmitz Cargobull customers, including roadside assistance and accident repair.
Commenting on the announcement, Scania Australia Managing Director Roger McCarthy said:
“Scania is delighted to be able to make this announcement. We are very pleased to have been appointed as the exclusive Australian agent for this element of the Schmitz Cargobull business.
“Schmitz refrigerated and temperature-controlled boxes are built to a very high standard and are complementary to the Scania product in terms of their advanced design, operational efficiency and quality,” he said.
Schmitz Cargobull has been active in Australia for around three years and has already supplied more than 160 trailer sets into the market.
