Anders Nielsen joined Scania in 1987 and took up his first management position in 1991. In 1995 he became Plant Manager for the Gearbox Production in Sibbhult, Sweden, and in 1997 he took the position as Plant Manager for the Cab Producion in Oskarshamn, Sweden. In 2002 he assumed the position as Technical Director in Latin America and four years later he was back in Sweden as Senior Vice President, Chassis and Cab Production. In 2010 he was appointed Executive Vice President and Head of Production and Logistics.
