Scania has a renowned position among the world's leading vehicle manufacturers as regards safety. It was in order to confirm this focus on safety and put passenger safety to the test, that Scania has conducted the unique rollover test. The test was performed according to the European requirements specified in ECE R66, which specifies that the bus body's deformation during a rollover incident may not compromise a pre-determined survival area.
