Svempas, the world-renowned Swedish truck customiser, has created a new limited edition Scania tractor series called Dark Diamond, in close collaboration with Scania’s styling experts.

This eye-catching jewel of a truck is magnificently styled with special metallic blue carbon and high-gloss piano black finishes. Chrome details, customised exterior graphics and a meticulously detailed interior complete the picture: Superb technology moving proudly down the highway. A truck for people that value quality and want to show it.

The Dark Diamond is based on the new Scania R-series and is available with Highline or Topline cabs, fitted with a powerful V8 engine, specified for either Euro 4 or Euro 5.

Dark Diamond entered production in December 2009, with the series being limited to 100 vehicles, each numbered and signed by Sven-Erik “Svempa” Bergendahl himself.

Previous limited edition series by Svempas have been produced for specific markets, always building on Scania’s design philosophy. Starting a new tradition, the Dark Diamond will be the first worldwide limited edition series – and in time for another milestone, the Scania V8 engine 40th anniversary in 2009!
