Fuel system
Scania’s electronic Engine Management System (EMS), together with electronic unit injectors, contributes in a great way to cutting both fuel consumption and emissions. Increased swept volume and electric controlled wastegate turbo charger are other examples of value-adding technical features. To ensure maximum reliability, the injection system is designed for rugged use and accepts both biodiesel and varying fuel qualities.

Dual oil filtration system
All Scania engines have a unique oil filtration system that provides maximum filtration and minimum wear. A full-flow paper filter removes large particles while a centrifugal cleaner filters out small particles. Scania’s oil filtration system remains unchallenged as the best in its class, providing concrete benefits like better operating economy and lower environmental impact.

Cooler packages
In order to provide even more convenient and optimised solutions, we have developed a range of cooler packages. They can be bought and delivered separately, or factory mounted on your engines.

Compliant to future emission standards
Scania offers engines that deliver outstanding operating economy together with the lowest possible environmental impact. As a part of the new range we also offer engines with EGR, exhaust gas recirculation. Scania engines with EGR comply with Stage IIIA emission standards and our engine range is well prepared for future emission regulations.
