Scania EuroDrive: New powertrains - more choices than ever With a broad array of 21 engines, combined with a new series of gearboxes, Scania offers customers optimised powertrains for all types of transport.
"The superior driveability that has characterised Scania for many years is now getting even better. This is the result of interplay in the powertrain - between engine, gearbox, and rear axle. Regardless of emission technology or output level, drivers will like the response of the powertrain that makes the truck a true pleasure to drive", says Hasse Johansson, Scania's head of research and development. Scania's new powertrains are presented at Scania EuroDrive 2005, Ardennes 4-9 September. For in-depth information please see press releases below.
