Old and new top modern fire-fighting vehicles will be on display for the general public and specially invited guests. The exhibition is divided into an historic and a modern section.
HISTORIC EXHIBITION 5-30 MAY
Seven old fire-fighting vehicles from the period 1914-1981 will be on display the entire exhibition period 5-30 May. To further illustrate Scania’s tradition as supplier of fire-fighting vehicles visitors will also be able to study historic material such
as photographs, films and interesting fire-fighting equipment from the previous century.
MODERN EXHIBITION 5-11 MAY
During the first week of the exhibition, 5-11 May, five new fully equipped fire-fighting vehicles will be on display. These vehicles, a water-tender, an airport crash tender, two hydraulic platforms and a ladder vehicle will kindly be placed at Scania’s
disposal by body-work suppliers and customers in full operational condition. These vehicles represent well Scanias width in the fire-fighting vehicle segment.
Staff from Scania’s Sales Engineering department and staff from body-work suppliers will be available on site to answer questions and demonstrate the vehicles.
