Fire-Fighting ExhibitionTo celebrate over 90 years of tradition and know-how as supplier of fire-fighting vehicles, Scania opens an exhibition in the Marcus Wallenberg Hall at Scania in Södertälje.

Old and new top modern fire-fighting vehicles will be on display for the general public and specially invited guests. The exhibition is divided into an historic and a modern section.

HISTORIC EXHIBITION 5-30 MAY
Seven old fire-fighting vehicles from the period 1914-1981 will be on display the entire exhibition period 5-30 May. To further illustrate Scania’s tradition as supplier of fire-fighting vehicles visitors will also be able to study historic material such as photographs, films and interesting fire-fighting equipment from the previous century.

MODERN EXHIBITION 5-11 MAY
During the first week of the exhibition, 5-11 May, five new fully equipped fire-fighting vehicles will be on display. These vehicles, a water-tender, an airport crash tender, two hydraulic platforms and a ladder vehicle will kindly be placed at Scania’s disposal by body-work suppliers and customers in full operational condition. These vehicles represent well Scanias width in the fire-fighting vehicle segment.

Staff from Scania’s Sales Engineering department and staff from body-work suppliers will be available on site to answer questions and demonstrate the vehicles.

Scania would like to thank all who kindly put the vehicles, old as new, at Scania's disposal for the purpose of this exhibition.
