Intermat is one of the world's three biggest trade shows in the construction materials production industry.
At Intermat Scania Engines launches a completely new range of industrial engines that complies with the Stage IIIB Tier 4i emission regulations. The new engines cover a wide span, from the 5-cylinder 9-litre 275 hp to the 16-litre 700 hp V8.
With the new engine range Scania also introduces a new generation of engine management systems. This together with Scanias combustion technology and a common-rail injection system with extra high pressure injection (Scania XPI) results in lower particulate matter, increased power output, higher torque at low revs, lower combustion noice - and lower fuel consumption.
