Scania invests nearly SEK 3 billion in research and development annually.
2000 specialists in trucks, buses and engines work with the entire production development chain: from fundamental research, design, and long-term testing to quality follow-up in the production and with Scania’s suppliers.
You can work with classic mechanics, but we also have major challenges within, for example, mechatronics, electronics, design, ergonomics and aerodynamics.
Within product development there are several development paths: specialist, project manager or manager/leadership career.
The work is mainly carried out at the Scania Technical Centre in Södertälje.
This is where you can work as a:
• Designer
• Test engineer
• Systems developer
• Calculation engineer
• Project manager
