The IT departments work with the entire Scania operation, with systems development, administration, project management, infrastructure and operations. We also have a development department where we formulate intelligent applications and services for the transport sector.

Our IT security division is responsible for making Scania’s information flows secure through monitoring the world around us and participating in different security projects.

Those working primarily within the IT division are people with Master of Engineering degrees, systems developers, and MBAs with a focus on industrial finances or information systems.

The IT work is mainly carried out in the company Scania InfoMate.
