Deep cooperation

  • When Ohara Corporation decided to upgrade its range of snow groomers for the first time in two decades, it wanted an engine capable of delivering low emissions and noise without sacrificing torque.
  • For the past 15 years two companies have entertained a warm and mutually beneficial business relationship, in which Scania is playing an ever-increasing role.
  • Scania workshop operator John Kelly has been known to travel more than 1,000 kilometres to get an engine going. Now, at age 71, he has embraced technology  and has no intention of retiring.
