Scania establishes environmental objectives and targets in order to make the environmental policy more concrete.
Objectives are of a general nature and deal with issues such as the use of raw materials, chemicals, energy and water. Based on the objectives and local conditions, each operation or unit sets its own local targets. A local target is a goal that can be
measured and evaluated on a quantitative basis. Several local targets can thus be linked and may have to be met in order to fulfil an objective. Scania environmental objectives - Continually improve environmental work throughout the value chain.
