Education: BSc Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Economics.

Jan Ytterberg graduated from the University of Stockholm in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science in Business and economics. He joined Scania as trainee the same year and took his first management position in 1991. Shortly thereafter he became Head of group accounting and in 1996 he took the position as Marketing director at Scania Finance. After that he left Sweden in 1998 to become Director of Administration and Finance at Scania Hispania S.A. In 2002 he took the position as Finance Director of Scania Latin America and two years later he was back in Sweden and was appointed Senior Vice President Corporate Control. In 2006 Jan Ytterberg was appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
