The concept of corporate governance describes the decision making systems by which companies are governed.
Scania’s ambition is that its corporate governance shall maintain a high international standard through the clarity and simplicity of its management systems and governing documents.
Scania AB (publ) is a Swedish public limited liability company, where governance, management and control are allocated between the shareholders, the Board of Directors, the President and CEO and the Executive Board.
Corporate governance is based on the company’s Articles of Association, the Swedish Companies Act, the rule book for issuers at the NASDAQ OMX Nordic Exchange Stockholm and the Swedish Code of Corporate Governance, as well as other applicable laws and rules.
A more detailed description of the Governance structure can be found in the Corporate Governance Report of Scania.
